My goal is to create art that inspires a kinder world for those who are targeted and silenced. I’m focused on helping the LGBTQ+ community by challenging social norms, raising questions and starting conversations. By creating performance art that evokes emotion, I hope to deliver important social messages and open minds towards a kinder future.
“Hallelujah” is a queer/circus concept about religion and the importance of choosing kindness regardless of our differences or beliefs. Religion is a tough subject for many in the LGBTQ community, and this piece is a reflection of the struggle and rejection we often feel. It tells the story of an individual troubled by the hate in the world and his partner who is fighting to lift him up, to remind him he is beautiful exactly how he is. My message is that religion should inspire more kindness and open arms, even towards those you may not understand.
From the first time our eyes met, the our first embrace, to creating a bond and love that is unbreakable, this video is a metaphor to what it feels like to fall in love. We transformed our personal story into an exciting performance to send a powerful message. That we are proud of who we are, the love that we share, and that all love is equal.
'Reflection' will be a short film to discuss racism, the BLM movement and to reflect on why the current movement towards change is so important.
'BLUE' is about the way the world conditions us to conform to gender roles, identities + expectations. It’s a look at the way many of us who are different, are defined as strange and unacceptable for not fitting the mold.
'Shadows' will be a visual story of heartbreak, and the way someone's absence can haunt you.
A musical mockery of the way gay men have evolved, the current dating lifestyle, and all the wonders that come with it.
"Butterflies" will be the story of trans-youth, painted through the eyes of a child's imagination.
